We are pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the migration of our database and application hosting to Microsoft Azure North Europe. Since absentify integrates completely with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams, it makes sense to host our services and data with the same provider.

As part of this migration, we've made changes to our subprocessors. Here's an outline of the modifications:

Increased Use of Microsoft Azure Services

We have expanded our use of Microsoft Azure to host both the application and the database. This shift ensures that all data and services are now exclusively hosted in Azure's North Europe region (Ireland and Denmark), providing enhanced reliability and scalability.

Subprocessors no longer in use:

- Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Former Location: USA, worldwide

- Former Description: Hosting of parts of the application and infrastructure

- PlanetScale Inc.

- Former Location: Mountain View, CA, USA

- Former Description: Hosting of the database

- Vercel Inc.

- Former Location: Walnut, CA, USA

- Former Description: Hosting of the application

With these changes, AWS, PlanetScale, and Vercel are no longer hosting any of our data or services. The consolidation to Microsoft Azure North Europe aligns our infrastructure with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams, offering a more integrated and secure environment.
