  5. Today and calendar drop down

    It would be nice to have a button for "Today" next to the Absent today that would take you to the current date/day instead of having to arrow back when looking at future dates. A drop down for future months would be helpful and more user friendly in looking at scheduling time off or business trips instead of arrowing forward or backward.

  6. Printout of an employee annual calendar and the entire team in PDF or other file

    It would be great if each employee could download their own annual calendar as a PDF, including their personal vacation days. Additionally, I would like to have the option to download or print a team overview PDF that shows all employees and their vacation periods in one place. So that i could print it or send ist via mail.

  7. The ability to change your absence markings without cancelling them

    I would like to see an option to change your absence markings without cancelling them. I.e. when you try to change (shift) your vacation, you have to cancel the whole thing and start over.

  8. Monthly accounting accruals

    Monthly accrual accounts. It would be great if a custom filter (for ex January to April) would be available on the overview page. This filter should allow to see the holidays status at a certain moment in time and calculate the accrual value for the holiday left that the company would have to pay in a future. For example, Mark has 20 days holidays + 3 service day, he booked 7 days at the end of May. Accounts department has to see in April: Mark 20+3 days left, meanwhile if Accounts looks at the calendar at the end of May should see 13+3.

  9. School Holidays marked in bar above week days

    We are a company with many employees with school kids. When we plan our holiday with absentify it would be usefull to see, when the school holidays in our country/state are starting and ending. It should work similar to the public holidays. maybe the days in the bar of the week days should be marked with school holiday when you choose for example germany / lower saxony in the settings. thanks

  10. Schedule for 2 weeks or 1 month

    Currently the schedule is set for a weekly pattern. We have some people who work a 9 day fortnight, so to show this in absentify we have to at a new schedule for each week of the year, which is a pain to set up! If the schedule could have an option to set specific rules (i.e. this person is off every other Friday) or a schedule over multiple weeks that would be amazing!

    Absentify currently offers only a global admin role and a basic distinction between "Manager" and "Member", which limits flexibility in large organizations. This feature would introduce a customizable role and permission system that allows organizations to define granular roles with specific access rights. For example, a sub-admin could manage approval workflows within a department but be restricted from modifying global settings like holiday calendars or absence quotas. Additionally, intermediate roles (e.g., key users) could be created to support decentralized administration, such as managing team settings or assisting with user support, without full admin privileges. All roles should be assignable and manageable via API to ensure seamless integration with HR systems and reduce manual effort. This enables scalable governance, supports key-user structures, and aligns with enterprise-level role management practices.

  14. Set Carryover Limits Before the Carry Over Deadline

    This feature would allow administrators to set more granular rules for unused allowance days at the end of a fiscal year. Currently, the system allows users to define a deadline by which all carried-over days must be used, with only a certain number of days usable after that deadline. The proposed enhancement introduces an additional layer of flexibility by enabling admins to: Define Carryover Limits: Set a maximum number of days that can be carried over into the new fiscal year. For example, if an employee has 12 unused days at the end of the year, admins can specify that only 10 days are eligible for carryover. Relation to Deadline: The carried-over days must be used before the established deadline. For instance, the 10 carried-over days must be used by March 31, after which any unused days will expire entirely. This new feature ensures clear and fair rules for managing leftover allowance days, aligning with company policies while offering employees better visibility and planning options.

  15. Button or entry with specific date in the team overview as a quick filter for the department

    Provide a button/input field with date (for absentify) above the team overview. E.g., enter the date 11/22/2025 to filter the entire team calendar starting from that date. Similar to the “Absent today” button.
