  1. Cancellation of individual days

    It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

    Provide possibility to " plan " absences (display as " planned absence "). Or display absences that have not yet started as "planned" in the individual contingent overview.

  3. Info on cancelled/declined leave with data

    Ability to view leave that has been cancelled or declined, with data on who, when and why. Some of this is visible in the export (although not dates/times), so a specific tab on the export would work. We are trying to manage requests to make sure managers are following our policies and being fair, so this would be very helpful to help us do that!

  4. The ability to change your absence markings without cancelling them

    I would like to see an option to change your absence markings without cancelling them. I.e. when you try to change (shift) your vacation, you have to cancel the whole thing and start over.

    Allow overtime to be added in a separate counter and then the emplyees can subtract the recup hours from this.

  7. A list of birthdays and reminders to management 1 week before

    Managers will know of staff birthdays a week before and can remember to get a card basically! It would be helpful to have the option where, birthdays count as a day off for the employee, block the day out automatically, but without deducting from annual leave allowance.

  8. School Holidays marked in bar above week days

    We are a company with many employees with school kids. When we plan our holiday with absentify it would be usefull to see, when the school holidays in our country/state are starting and ending. It should work similar to the public holidays. maybe the days in the bar of the week days should be marked with school holiday when you choose for example germany / lower saxony in the settings. thanks

  9. A function to set reminders for managers about upcoming staff leave

    Hi, We are currently using the Absentify app for our company and would like to ask if it has a function to set reminders for the managers, notifying them if staff would be on leave the next day. For example, a staff member files for leave a month prior, and is approved by the manager. A day before the leave is rendered, the manager receives a notification reminding them that the staff will be on leave the next day. I think this would be helpful for resource management, as the manager can then plan ahead for task resourcing accordingly.

  10. Serial appointments (recurring) like in Outlook

    It often happens that the dates are repeated, e.g. Every Thursday is free. It would be nice if you could create a recurring appointment for a specific time and permanently.

  12. Company holidays

    Every Year, the whole company has closed for several days (e.g., Christmas vacation) I would be very nice when the admin / manager can define these holiday for the complete company or his department. Of course, these days has to be subtracted from the holiday contingent of each staff member.

  14. "Carry Forward" - Deadline

    Unused vacation days can only be taken to the next year until a certain deadline. Afterwards they will be cancelled.

  15. Pro Rata - mid year starters

    When new starters join midway through the financial year. The ability to enter their entire years allowance of leave, but choose to prorata their remaining amount and have it automatically calculated.
