I would like to see an option to change your absence markings without cancelling them. I.e. when you try to change (shift) your vacation, you have to cancel the whole thing and start over.

It would be great to have the possibility to grant a major manager (like CEO or HR manager) the possibility to see all users absences (like the Admin can do) without linking them to specific departments nor giving them admin rights. So they will not appear in the overview of each department, but they also cannot change settings which should be only feasible for admins.

It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

It will be nice if can print the annual calendar of each user separately, perhaps as a pdf file.

Currently the schedule is set for a weekly pattern. We have some people who work a 9 day fortnight, so to show this in absentify we have to at a new schedule for each week of the year, which is a pain to set up! If the schedule could have an option to set specific rules (i.e. this person is off every other Friday) or a schedule over multiple weeks that would be amazing!

Every 5 years we have something special for our employees on their anniversary. For our company it would be better if the date only shows up 5 years (10 years, 15 years, ...) after the beginning.

User schedules: Users should only be able to set their own schedule and should not be able to modify others It would be nice if you could view specific user's schedules - If I'm trying to schedule a meeting from the UK with someone located in the US it would be nice to see the hours they'll be working

Add a "planning mode" toggle to the leave request form so that employees can enter "draft" leaves and plan for their year. Ideally, there would then be a button to convert a draft leave into an actual request.

The current Overview UI does not show the full department name when only 1 department is selected. Instead of hovering to the drop-down list every time, utilizing the white space to show the full department name will be a great UI/UX improvement

It would be nice to have a button for "Today" next to the Absent today that would take you to the current date/day instead of having to arrow back when looking at future dates. A drop down for future months would be helpful and more user friendly in looking at scheduling time off or business trips instead of arrowing forward or backward.

When archiving a user, they need to be manually removed from the departments before archiving which is a pain. However, a user cannot be saved once archived is selected if they have no department. We've created a dummy department (called 'archived users') so users can be added to this, then successfully archived, but it would be better to remove departments entirely when archiving.

in our global company, we have workers who are working with other work days than the rest of the employee in the same site. Ex: in India, our plant workers &factory staff have a specific week days compare to the office employees. As the volume can be big, it would be useful be able to set different week schedule at the global settings (keep also the individual setting) and allow the admin to apply a week schedule to a department instead of doing it for each user. This is too much painful to do in manually. Also to include this option in the import process would be great too. Thank you

We do have some of the team only working 80 or 90%. Especially during school holidays we always have the problem of to many members absent at the same time. During this time I can ask another team member to come to work on their regular day off. This is a common agreement and appreciated by all team members to help out. If someone is for example always off on Monday I can count on that person on Monday, if needed. I can however not change it on the calendar just for this week.

Um absentify auch für weitere Planungen zu brauchen, wäre es vorteilhaft 2 verschiedene Absenzen am gleichen Tag erfassen zu können. Das geht z.B. bei Geburtstag und zusätzlich Ferien. Aber da Geburtstag nicht als Absenz erfasst wird, ist es möglich. Ich möchte Absenzen erfassen, die eigentlich keine Absenz in dem Sinne sein sollen.

I find the way the texts of the out-of-office messages are handled quite confusing. The idea of changing the text for several absence types at the same time is good, but the problem is that when I select two or more appointment types, the system cannot decide which one to display and it diplays a standard one. From a usability perspective, it would be more logical to only allow one appointment type to be selected and then display and customize the text for that type. Optionally, at the buttom of the form user could choose to apply this text to other types.
