  1. Cancellation of individual days

    It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

    We will need to be able to add multiple entries (hours, half or full day) in the same period. For example a user can be in an project for the day (no deduction) but also be noted that he will be on phone support (on-call duty). This possibility would be greatly appreciated.

  8. Representative logic

    Not only the approver has to approve an absence request. It is also possible to configure that a substitute must be selected for each request. It can be configured whether the requester can select a substitute from a pool, or whether he or she is free to choose one. In this process, the representative gets a request when the representative approves, only then the request goes to the approver.

  11. Differentiation between statutory and non statutory

    In some countries the expiring days of non statutory and statutory holidays are different, right now there is no distinction possible . I give you a quick example: Statutory (minimum required by law) 4 weeks thus 5*4 =20 days Non statutory (anything given on top of minimum) = 1 week thus 5 days So the employee has a total holidays within the year of 25 days, the statutory balance expires 6 months after dec 31st. while the non statutory expires 5 years after dec 31st.

  12. Allow any approver for any employee

    In our company, employees within the same department often have different approvers who are not within that department. I see that each user can have a β€˜custom’ approver added to them, but when I try to add one, only the employees within their respective department show. Requesting allowing any user to be an approver no matter the department.

  13. The ability to filter the people you are looking at based on if YOU are responsible for approving them.

    For a manager of a group of employees it would be handy to be able to easily only look at the ones they are responsible for. For example when determining coverage for Christmas if I am responsible for 10 employees out of 200 company wide being able to see all of mine in one screen would be helpful. I believe there are currently ways to set this up with areas but it requires a lot of extra set up and maintenance where as we already have employees assigned to any given approver.
