Um absentify auch fΓΌr weitere Planungen zu brauchen, wΓ€re es vorteilhaft 2 verschiedene Absenzen am gleichen Tag erfassen zu kΓΆnnen. Das geht z.B. bei Geburtstag und zusΓ€tzlich Ferien. Aber da Geburtstag nicht als Absenz erfasst wird, ist es mΓΆglich. Ich mΓΆchte Absenzen erfassen, die eigentlich keine Absenz in dem Sinne sein sollen.

Cancellation of individual days
It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

Filter and sort people in the overview
In the overview, it would be great to be able to sort (for example : sorting people by their last names instead of their first names, by the number of holidays remaining or based on their positions) and filter people (to select manually only some people of the team, the ones with a similar position for example). Support more options for maximum absence
Currently, it is only possible to specify a fixed amount of people per department that can be absent at the same time. This already helps but lacks some flexibility in certain situations. Based on our practical experiences and reaching the boundaries of the current implementation I propose to extend the capabilities of the maximum absence feature as follows: Enable automatic calculation of the maximum absence by providing a percentage and possibly also a switch to determine whether resulting odd numbers should be rounded up or down to the next integer. Why? Upon using the Microsoft Entra integration and synchronizing team changes automatically, this would simplify administration as the maximum absence would automatically update as well. At the moment, this setting has to be readjusted manually upon every change in the member count of a department.Support exclusion periods where the maximum absence rule does not kick in. Why? For example in the holiday season (24th of December to 1st January) many companies are just operating with a small percentage of the full staff. This additional setting would allow more absences than usual during that timeframe without having to manually increase the maximum absence value before the season and then again manually decreasing it afterwards.Support exclusion rules for specific absence types so these don't count towards the total absent employee count. Why? Some absences reflect longer-term unavailability like maternity protection or parental leaves. These absences are not controllable by the employer, so they cannot be taken into account beforehand. As a result, absences of specific types should not count towards the total absence count since it would automatically put a disadvantage on the remaining employees of the same department who will reach the maximum absence limit earlier than expected. Separate DAYS REMAINING for the different allowances
Would be very useful for managers and users to be able see the Days Remaining for "Allowance", VS Days Remaining for "Compensatory time off". Currently this has to be calculated manually and can be confusing. Having a breakdown would be great.

Sorting and pinning individual people in the team overview
A way to display individual employees at the top of the team overview, e.g., by pinning them. This view should be retained even after switching within absentify or closing the application. I can always see 2-3 people with whom I work closely immediately in the top of the overview (without sorting from A-Z). These settings should be retained permanently for the team so that the default view is not constantly being switched to. Faster and better working with absentify.

Da die Regularien wie viele Mitarbeitende abwesend sein kΓΆnnen sehr individuell ist, fΓ€nde ich es eine Verbesserung, wenn die Zahl der Maximal abwesenden Personen bis zur Zahl der Mitarbeiter in der jeweiligen Abteilung erhΓΆht werden kΓΆnnte.

Allow for the adjustment of the starting year for allocations across the company
One problem the current system workaround invites is if an employee leaves in a future year and we have adjusted prior years allocation amounts to lessor amounts, it will appear they were not awarded the standard company PTO allocation for the prior year(s). We were hoping to hear from your team if it is in the works to rectify that risk to organizations the current state introduces to your clients. We were hopeful that was already being looked at, and in the works for planned implementation before the end of 2026. Please let us know if it is in your project backlog, and the likelihood of it getting fixed.

The ability to change your absence markings without cancelling them
I would like to see an option to change your absence markings without cancelling them. I.e. when you try to change (shift) your vacation, you have to cancel the whole thing and start over.
