Additional Overview Filter
Would be great to add an additional filter on the "Overview" for "Working Elsewhere". This would also match what is showing in Teams/Outlook. Currently it can get confusing when someone filters with "Absent Today", but they are just working remotely.

Read-Only Roles for Supervisory Visibility Without Approval Rights
In large organizational structures, higher-level managers often need visibility into absence data across multiple teams without participating in approval workflows. This feature would introduce a read-only role that allows designated users to view absence information without triggering notifications or being listed as approvers. Ideally, this role should be assignable via API to support automated role management from external HR systems. It ensures transparency for leadership while maintaining privacy and clarity in approval chains.

Canceling an absence must also be approved
When a user wants to cancel an absence, the approver must also accept or refuse the cancellation

Should be possible to completely hide the birthday
I think the user should have the choice of, in their team calendar, to: Fully display the birthday (day / month / year) Only the date part (day / month) Do not display it at all

Request for Additional Role Hierarchy Above Department Managersultiple quotas
I would like to request the implementation of an additional role hierarchy above department managers. This hierarchy would allow for representing the executive level, which may not necessarily require the administrator role. The new role should have the following capabilities: -Additional Permissions: Overview of all departments and employees -Equivalent Permissions to Department Managers

Ability to create Allowances based on years since onboarding
The number of days of leave allowance are dependant on the number of years worked at the company. It would be a great feature if we could automate this process. As an example, a new employee by default has 10 days allowance but the allowance increases to 15 after 3 years.

Auto calculate long service
Hi, we offer 1 additional day after 3 years service which increases by 1 day each year. Is there an option for this to auto calculate by adding a rule for example looking at the start date? Thanks

Integrate the option that cancelling future leave needs to go through a Manager approval process
In Germany (and surely many other European countries), employers are allowed to deny the cancellation of leave (unless it is due to illness). It would be great if we could have the cancellation of future leave days go through an approval process just like applying for leave.

Bank Holidays in the UK 26/27 aren't right
Dear Team, I am forward planning for holiday and Christmas leave for the year 2026/2027, however I've noticed that the bank holidays are entered incorrectly for the UK. December 26th lands on a Saturday, therefore this should be moved to Monday 28th December. Plus, January 1st 2027 doesn't show as a bank holiday at all. Please can these be corrected. Thanks

Negative allowance model - Allow select option a type of leave works with negative values instead of only possitive
In our real practice, unless deducting allowance when people take days-off, we also have the strong needs to increase the allowance when people work overtime during weekends or bank holidays. To add allowance, now only admins have the access to modify it manually, which is not very user friendly. This approach presents two key challenges for us: Manual Process Burden: Requiring employees to email the administrator to adjust their allowances (based on extra days worked) is inefficient. Lack of Traceability: Simply increasing allowance days doesnβt provide an auditable record of which specific days were worked (e.g., Saturday, August 2nd). We recognize that point #2 could be addressed by creating a separate "0-day" leave type to log extra days without deducting from allowances. However, we believe our proposed solution would be more elegant and scalable. Our Suggestion: When configuring a new type of leave, include an option to designate whether it operates with positive or negative values (but not both simultaneously). For example: A checkbox could enable "negative mode," where selecting this leave type deducts 0.5 or 1 day from the allowance. This would: a) Eliminate manual allowance adjustments (solving #1). b) Automatically track extra days via the leave system (solving #2). We see this as an impactful enhancementβnot just for our company, but for many other companies using the platform. What are your thoughts? Could we discuss feasibility or alternatives? Looking forward to your insights. Thanks a lot.

Customizable Admin Role and Permission System for Scalable Administration
Absentify currently offers only a global admin role and a basic distinction between "Manager" and "Member", which limits flexibility in large organizations. This feature would introduce a customizable role and permission system that allows organizations to define granular roles with specific access rights. For example, a sub-admin could manage approval workflows within a department but be restricted from modifying global settings like holiday calendars or absence quotas. Additionally, intermediate roles (e.g., key users) could be created to support decentralized administration, such as managing team settings or assisting with user support, without full admin privileges. All roles should be assignable and manageable via API to ensure seamless integration with HR systems and reduce manual effort. This enables scalable governance, supports key-user structures, and aligns with enterprise-level role management practices.

Cancellation of individual days
It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

The ability to change your absence markings without cancelling them
I would like to see an option to change your absence markings without cancelling them. I.e. when you try to change (shift) your vacation, you have to cancel the whole thing and start over.
