Filter and sort people in the overview
In the overview, it would be great to be able to sort (for example : sorting people by their last names instead of their first names, by the number of holidays remaining or based on their positions) and filter people (to select manually only some people of the team, the ones with a similar position for example). Thank you

Today and calendar drop down
It would be nice to have a button for "Today" next to the Absent today that would take you to the current date/day instead of having to arrow back when looking at future dates. A drop down for future months would be helpful and more user friendly in looking at scheduling time off or business trips instead of arrowing forward or backward.

Canceling an absence must also be approved
When a user wants to cancel an absence, the approver must also accept or refuse the cancellation

Set Allowance to move forward based on when employment starts
There seems to be no way to set when time off allowances and how they move forward per person. our policy is to give vacation days based on when the person started employment. Perhaps I'm missing something, if so It's not clear how to accomplish this.

Zeiterfassung
--- Translation via ChatGPT: I know that absentify is a tool for absence planning, but I would find it fantastic if there could be some sort of time tracking that communicates with absentify. No matter which tool I look at, I would have to manually maintain my planned absences in the time tracking system. I know there are certainly possibilities hereβespecially with PowerApps and PowerAutomateβbut I just find a fully integrated solution better. In our case, we would only need the simplest form of time tracking: clocking in and out. And of course, a reporting tool for the employees themselves and for the admins who can view everything.

Holidays configured in Absentify should also sync to Shared Calendar with Calendar Sync module
It would be really nice if the calendar sync functionality had the option to also sync holiday items that have been configured in Absentify.

Add time tracking to MS Teams
Gratulation to a simple and easy to handle solution for the vacation-management. Now its time to add a timetracking solution in the same way. Any chance to see something like that?

Employment Anniversary Reminder
Should show the amount of years employed

Reason shown in hover
Would be good if the reason for absence was shown when you hover over an absence in the calendar for Admins.

Anniversary
Every 5 years we have something special for our employees on their anniversary. For our company it would be better if the date only shows up 5 years (10 years, 15 years, ...) after the beginning.

Customizable Admin Role and Permission System for Scalable Administration
Absentify currently offers only a global admin role and a basic distinction between "Manager" and "Member", which limits flexibility in large organizations. This feature would introduce a customizable role and permission system that allows organizations to define granular roles with specific access rights. For example, a sub-admin could manage approval workflows within a department but be restricted from modifying global settings like holiday calendars or absence quotas. Additionally, intermediate roles (e.g., key users) could be created to support decentralized administration, such as managing team settings or assisting with user support, without full admin privileges. All roles should be assignable and manageable via API to ensure seamless integration with HR systems and reduce manual effort. This enables scalable governance, supports key-user structures, and aligns with enterprise-level role management practices.

Upload users with more settings than what is possible
Uploading list of new users (hundreds) is a real pain when we need to change default settings that we can not set in the file. Please add other fields like : allowance visible Y/N, Approver's options, DoB, Language. Today I have to set them manually after the loading which is time consuming. If we want to include more employees, we will need better tools to do it. Thank you

Recurring entries allow conflicts, at least certain leave type
Recurring entries being added to Absentify is a good start π. However, I'd like to create recurring entries that allow conflicts on the 'work from home' category. This will allow our users to create the entire year's worth (would be nice to have indefinite / open end, but yearly is a good start) of work from home recurring entries, with out having to reenter those days that are conflicts. While there is an option to skip conflicts (which has a bug at moment) having to reenter those later will likely be missed.
