Canceling an absence must also be approved
When a user wants to cancel an absence, the approver must also accept or refuse the cancellation

The ability to change your absence markings without cancelling them
I would like to see an option to change your absence markings without cancelling them. I.e. when you try to change (shift) your vacation, you have to cancel the whole thing and start over.

Weeks and Months in the "My Calendar View" and the "Overview"
It would be nice if you could select and display by weeks and months in the "My Calendar View" and the "Overview".

Helpful to jump back to today when scrolling in the calendar

Krankheitstage schlagen Urlaubstage

Show overlaps when a user requests leave
If a user requests leave, his superior receives a message to accept or reject the leave. Currently, they have to check the calendar view to see whether someone else in their team is already on holiday during this period. Solution: It would be better to write directly in the approval popup that there are overlaps with other users of the team in this period.

Approvers can approve even if department limit is reached
Currently, only administators can create absences once a department's limit of concurrent absentees is reached. It would be very helpful if approvers were able to do that as well.

Cancellation of individual days
It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

Recurring events/appointments as a series
Would like to be able to create a series of an appointment/s like Outlook allows us to.

Comment box for approved leave applications - I want to be able to write a comment (e.g. PAID, UNPAID, TOIL) when approving leave.

Pre-enter an end date (with automatic actions!)
It would be great to be able to 'pre-archive' a user. When some says they are leaving, if the user could be updated with a future end date, and their leave adjusted (perhaps manually) to reflect the days they have left, with the calendar greyed out for the dates after they leave? Then the user stays active until they leave, at which point the user is automatically archived? We've just been through a redundancy process so had a number of leavers to process at different points depending on their notice period, and the ability to do it all one go would've been great! Also, if when the user is then archived, if all departments and custom approvers could be automatically removed (and the ability to have no selection for either) that would be fantastic!

Show comments to when you hover on someone's calendar
It is currently cumbersome to view the comment/reason on someone's leave. I would like the ability to hover over the leave on their calendar and see the comment.

Custom reports
A custom report feature that would allow you to export specific data aside from name and allowance, namely: -Check boxes to export only specific leave types -Exact date range (currently can only select by month or year). I would like to be able to run it from any two specific dates. Thanks!

Ability to export data to excel
Would like to be able to export data to excel including the following data: -emp name -allowance -PTO used (must only be year to date!) This would do wonders in helping with reconciling PTO and our internal timesheets. Thanks
