In the “Automatic absence notes” section, there should be a new variable to display the last day of absence. Possible name: “Last day of absence.” (In German: "Letzter Tag der Abwesenheit")

Hallo, wir möchten als Verbesserungsvorschlag einbringen, dass Krankheitstage bestehende Urlaubstage "überschreiben" und nicht erst der komplette Urlaub storniert und wieder korrigiert neu eingetragen werden muss. Dieses erleicht die Administration ungemein.

Time span on hover for event (tooltip)
We have absentify setup to use 15 minute intervals. Currently when viewing the calendar, we can see the day blocked (all, morning, afternoon) but to see actual time we need to open the day to see the specific time. It would be helpful to see the time of the event while hovering the item and total time listed. Example: Tues, Mar 04 - Sick - 1:00pm-4:15pm(3h, 15m) Attached examples of our previous system

Cancellation of individual days
It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

Monthly accounting accruals
Monthly accrual accounts. It would be great if a custom filter (for ex January to April) would be available on the overview page. This filter should allow to see the holidays status at a certain moment in time and calculate the accrual value for the holiday left that the company would have to pay in a future. For example, Mark has 20 days holidays + 3 service day, he booked 7 days at the end of May. Accounts department has to see in April: Mark 20+3 days left, meanwhile if Accounts looks at the calendar at the end of May should see 13+3.

Filter and sort people in the overview
In the overview, it would be great to be able to sort (for example : sorting people by their last names instead of their first names, by the number of holidays remaining or based on their positions) and filter people (to select manually only some people of the team, the ones with a similar position for example). Representative Eligibility Setting for Absence Types
Add a toggle in the Absence Type Settings called “Representative-eligible.” When enabled, employees with this leave type (e.g. Home Office, Business Trip) remain available as representatives. When disabled, they’re treated as unavailable (e.g. Vacation, Sick Leave). This logic would also respect the existing Representative Requirement settings for each leave type.

Vertreter sollte trotz Zusage einer «Vertretung» eine eigene Kurz-Absenz erfassen dürfen z.B. Arzttermin, kurzer privater Termin etc.
Aktuell hat ein Vertreter keine Möglichkeit im absentify eine persönliche Absenz zu erfassen, wenn er während dieser Zeit bereits einer Stellvertretung zugesagt hat. Diese Situation kommt doch öfters vor, z.B. wenn während zweiwöchigen Ferienvertretungen einen Arzttermin oder einen privaten Termin von kurzer Dauer wahrgenommen werden müsssen und auch dürfen. Dies gilt auch wenn die Einstellung „Vertreter erforderlich“ auf optional gesetzt ist und der Vertreter die Vertretungsanfrage angenommen hat. Die Option optional bedeutet lediglich, dass die Person, die die Abwesenheitsanfrage stellt, keinen Vertreter akzeptieren lassen muss, damit der Antrag weiter durch den Genehmigungsprozess läuft. Es würde uns freuen, wenn auch diese Ausnahmesituation mit absentify inskünftig abgebildet werden kann. Currently, a representative has no option to record a personal absence in absentify if they have already agreed to a substitute during that time. This situation occurs frequently, for example, when a doctor's appointment or a short private appointment must and may be attended during a two-week vacation. This also applies if the "Substitute required" setting is set to optional and the representative has accepted the substitution request. The optional option simply means that the person submitting the absence request does not have to accept a substitute for the request to continue through the approval process. We would be pleased if this exceptional situation could also be handled with absentify in the future.

The titles of absence types are not displayed in full in the overview. Could the display be extended to the right so that all details and the full name of the absence can be displayed?

Expand the view of the departments in the overview and in the drop-down menu of departments to the right so that all details and the name of the department can be displayed in full. Currently, only part of the name is visible and information is cut off. (There would be enough space :-))

Extend carry over balance period
Dear team, in each country the law allows a carry over period of the unused holiday balance to the new year, and currently the carry over period expiration is only set to 11 months, but if I take example of our situation we should be able to implement expiration of the carry over to 5 years timeframe expiration. Can you please consider this implementation ?

Delete a Request (API)
It would be great if we could also delete requests (both approved and unapproved) via API. This would greatly simplify the process of entering illnesses that “replace” vacation time or other changes (e.g., incorrect entries) and reduce a lot of manual work (reducing the source of errors).
