Always Show Optional Representative Dropdown in Absence Requests
Currently, the representative selection dropdown only appears if a minimum number of representatives is defined for the absence type. This feature would ensure that the dropdown is always visible in the absence request form, regardless of configuration, but allows the user to optionally select a representative. This gives end users the flexibility to decide per request whether to assign a representative or not, without being forced to do so.

Disable or Make Optional the Availability Check for Representatives
In scenarios like company-wide holidays or bridge days, entire teams may be absent by design. The current implementation prevents absence requests if the selected representative is also unavailable, which can block valid and intentional team-wide absences. This feature would allow organizations to either disable or make the availability check for representatives optional. It ensures that absence requests can still be submitted even when no available representative exists, aligning the system behavior with real-world operational needs.

Cancellation of individual days
It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

Be able to define sub-departments and be able to filters on them
We are a holding with two companies and in these companies we have different departments, plus sales peoples with given sales region. We like to be able to set a strucure of Compay A/Department/Sales Region for example. But the Microsoft Office 365 is based on tenant only, therefore I can't see how to set this kind of structure even with the Business Plan and the given Departments Add-on.

Part time automatic calculations for part time employees and to be entered in hours
We have a number of part time employees and we have to manual calculate their entitlement and also we can not convert this into hours. We are an employer that looks to employee part time people and this would be a huge benefit to the workforce

Due to events in the year, it would be useful to define dates when vacations cannot be taken. It would be useful if it can be defined which type of absences cannot be taken during the blocking dates.

Set Allowance to move forward based on when employment starts
There seems to be no way to set when time off allowances and how they move forward per person. our policy is to give vacation days based on when the person started employment. Perhaps I'm missing something, if so It's not clear how to accomplish this.

School Holidays marked in bar above week days
We are a company with many employees with school kids. When we plan our holiday with absentify it would be usefull to see, when the school holidays in our country/state are starting and ending. It should work similar to the public holidays. maybe the days in the bar of the week days should be marked with school holiday when you choose for example germany / lower saxony in the settings. thanks

Add Noticeboard where organisation leave rules can be posted as static content.
A noticeboard where the rules per leave type can be loaded as static content would assist new and casual employees on what kind of absences they can take and the rules for each one. For example. if one is calling in sick - the noticeboard can have something that says notify your line manager by 9am or if one is booking sick leave for more than two days, they would know they need to bring a doctor's letter on return to duties. It can be just an additional tab on the app and the main administrator has access to update the tab.

Monthly accounting accruals
Monthly accrual accounts. It would be great if a custom filter (for ex January to April) would be available on the overview page. This filter should allow to see the holidays status at a certain moment in time and calculate the accrual value for the holiday left that the company would have to pay in a future. For example, Mark has 20 days holidays + 3 service day, he booked 7 days at the end of May. Accounts department has to see in April: Mark 20+3 days left, meanwhile if Accounts looks at the calendar at the end of May should see 13+3.
