It might be useful if a manager could add a day off for all users, for example in the event of a company closure. At the moment it seems to me that it is possible to do this only by entering the absence on each user individually.

It would be useful to be able to set a 'global' approver for a leave type that supersedes the approvers set in someone department or account. For example - we have managers/project managers approving normal annual leave. However, we would like for HR to be the only ones able to approve compassionate leave, volunteer days, maternity leave and so on.

Where staff are on rota to work on a b/h they gain a day off in lieu/ flex - currently all public holidays are non deductible so there is not a way of recording time owed back to an employee and tracking this against entries made for the same.

It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

Managers will know of staff birthdays a week before and can remember to get a card basically! It would be helpful to have the option where, birthdays count as a day off for the employee, block the day out automatically, but without deducting from annual leave allowance.

Approvers must go forward months to see the number of approved time off for the week of the new user request. At the start of the year, this can potentially be twelve clicks to get to December. It would be useful for the 'Approve or Decline' link in the request email to go the Requests page. Once on the Requests page, a quick way to view the week of the new user request would be useful. This could either be a 'View in Calendar' button next to 'Approve' and 'Decline' buttons on the Requests page. The button could go to the Overview page filtered to the user's department, starting at the start of the date range of the new user request. Another option is to have a way of expanding the new user request on the Requests page to show a snippet of the calendar with details of the approved time off. Thanks.

The aim is to have a minimum number of people to be present in each department. The "maximum absent" function is not working on this if there is for example a department wird 3 persons, 1 working 5 days a week, 1 working on Mon and Tue and the third one working on Wed to Fri.

The public holiday icon shoud be customizable, just as the leave types are. The current color is too similar to the weekends. It's not so clear.

Monthly accrual accounts. It would be great if a custom filter (for ex January to April) would be available on the overview page. This filter should allow to see the holidays status at a certain moment in time and calculate the accrual value for the holiday left that the company would have to pay in a future. For example, Mark has 20 days holidays + 3 service day, he booked 7 days at the end of May. Accounts department has to see in April: Mark 20+3 days left, meanwhile if Accounts looks at the calendar at the end of May should see 13+3.
