  1. Cancellation of individual days

    It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

  5. School Holidays marked in bar above week days

    We are a company with many employees with school kids. When we plan our holiday with absentify it would be usefull to see, when the school holidays in our country/state are starting and ending. It should work similar to the public holidays. maybe the days in the bar of the week days should be marked with school holiday when you choose for example germany / lower saxony in the settings. thanks

  6. Monthly accounting accruals

    Monthly accrual accounts. It would be great if a custom filter (for ex January to April) would be available on the overview page. This filter should allow to see the holidays status at a certain moment in time and calculate the accrual value for the holiday left that the company would have to pay in a future. For example, Mark has 20 days holidays + 3 service day, he booked 7 days at the end of May. Accounts department has to see in April: Mark 20+3 days left, meanwhile if Accounts looks at the calendar at the end of May should see 13+3.

  7. Filter and sort people in the overview

    In the overview, it would be great to be able to sort (for example : sorting people by their last names instead of their first names, by the number of holidays remaining or based on their positions) and filter people (to select manually only some people of the team, the ones with a similar position for example). Thank you

  8. Secondary Drop Down for Leave Type

    Our company was wondering if it would be possible to add a secondary drop down for each leave type. For example, our company allows you to work from home for illness, appointments, car problems, etc., so it would be a great improvement for the employee to be able to then select the reason they are working from home from a secondary drop down. The reason we would want this over the employee just adding the reason is because we would want to be able to still filter to the reason in the Export file. Thank you!

  9. Be able to define sub-departments and be able to filters on them

    We are a holding with two companies and in these companies we have different departments, plus sales peoples with given sales region. We like to be able to set a strucure of Compay A/Department/Sales Region for example. But the Microsoft Office 365 is based on tenant only, therefore I can't see how to set this kind of structure even with the Business Plan and the given Departments Add-on.

  10. Company colours / Customization

    Like being able to put your own company logo in for the web version; would be great if you could edit the colour in the background into company colours. Or change the fonts/colours of writing. Another, more advance feature, would be cool if we could customise the layout of the way we request Holiday, for example moving the request holiday button, or changing the layout of the box that appears when you press the button. Could be a selection of designs in the preferences box or could enable personal customisation. Ther ecould be other areas of customisation as well

  11. Add users hierarchy

    Allow creating a hierarchy of users within a department. For example, if there is a finance department with different teams or work areas such as Accounting, taxes, accounts payable, accounts receivable... Being able to create this hierarchy in absentify so that the display is at the parent department level. It is difficult for large organizations to use the application with only one level.

    The department drop down box should able to show the complete complete department name, in stead jusst 6-7 char with.... but leaving log of white space.

  14. Add a reporting for user define an alert level of absence days used, and send them an email reminder on a monthly basis

    Some absence type we defined could link to taxation requirement. e.,g for staff absence from Hong Kong Office and duty travel to US or EU on some country over a certain number of days, they need to report to corresponding country taxation department, so it is required to have a regular report reminder email alert to the staff.

  15. The ability to change your absence markings without cancelling them

    I would like to see an option to change your absence markings without cancelling them. I.e. when you try to change (shift) your vacation, you have to cancel the whole thing and start over.
