  1. Add Noticeboard where organisation leave rules can be posted as static content.

A noticeboard where the rules per leave type can be loaded as static content would assist new and casual employees on what kind of absences they can take and the rules for each one. For example. if one is calling in sick - the noticeboard can have something that says notify your line manager by 9am or if one is booking sick leave for more than two days, they would know they need to bring a doctor's letter on return to duties. It can be just an additional tab on the app and the main administrator has access to update the tab.

  4. Company colours / Customization

Like being able to put your own company logo in for the web version; would be great if you could edit the colour in the background into company colours. Or change the fonts/colours of writing. Another, more advance feature, would be cool if we could customise the layout of the way we request Holiday, for example moving the request holiday button, or changing the layout of the box that appears when you press the button. Could be a selection of designs in the preferences box or could enable personal customisation. Ther ecould be other areas of customisation as well

  5. Leave types (without allowances) assigned to departments

Currently, if a leave type is assigned to an allowance, only people with that allowance can see that leave type, which is good. It would also be great to be able to assign leave types without allowances to departments, so that only those departments could see them. This would reduce the number of leave types a user can select and only show the relevant options.

  6. The ability to change your absence markings without cancelling them

I would like to see an option to change your absence markings without cancelling them. I.e. when you try to change (shift) your vacation, you have to cancel the whole thing and start over.

  7. Blockoutdates

Due to events in the year, it would be useful to define dates when vacations cannot be taken. It would be useful if it can be defined which type of absences cannot be taken during the blocking dates.

  8. School Holidays marked in bar above week days

We are a company with many employees with school kids. When we plan our holiday with absentify it would be usefull to see, when the school holidays in our country/state are starting and ending. It should work similar to the public holidays. maybe the days in the bar of the week days should be marked with school holiday when you choose for example germany / lower saxony in the settings. thanks

  9. Allow approvers to quickly have an overview of the week of a user's new request.

Approvers must go forward months to see the number of approved time off for the week of the new user request. At the start of the year, this can potentially be twelve clicks to get to December. It would be useful for the 'Approve or Decline' link in the request email to go the Requests page. Once on the Requests page, a quick way to view the week of the new user request would be useful. This could either be a 'View in Calendar' button next to 'Approve' and 'Decline' buttons on the Requests page. The button could go to the Overview page filtered to the user's department, starting at the start of the date range of the new user request. Another option is to have a way of expanding the new user request on the Requests page to show a snippet of the calendar with details of the approved time off. Thanks.

  11. Absences that affect only half a day over several days

Allow absences that affect only half a day over several days / weeks (to avoid having to change the working time model for short periods).

  12. Allow morning and afternoon times to overlap in a work schedule

When users request leave for a morning or afternoon, the users receive an Outlook calendar invite to show they are out of the office at that time. The times on the calendar item match the user’s work schedule. It would be useful if the times could overlap in a work schedule to account for total time out of the office, including lunch. An example schedule is 9 to 12 and 1 to 5 - if the user requests leave for the afternoon, their calendar isn't showing they are out of the office until 1 when they actually finished at 12. To account for this, the times in the work schedule could overlap or the user could be allowed to change the times of the calendar invite. Both are not possible now. Thanks.

  13. Calender visible before start date and after end date

Why there is calender before start date and after end date for every employee. Why leaves can be marked before he was even joined! Same problem is there after end date! Dates must be grayed out beyond employee's tenure and must not be accesible! It's hard to identify as well when someone have joined and left unless i check it in settings as an admin.

  15. Different Rules for Holiday at Christmas

During the year and busy times I want to restrict staff being off to just one employee. During set times in the year like the Christmas - New Years Break, I want to allow more staff off as do not need everyone in.
