    Due to events in the year, it would be useful to define dates when vacations cannot be taken. It would be useful if it can be defined which type of absences cannot be taken during the blocking dates.

  4. Counts in the dashboard

    As an admin, it would be helpful to see the leave count directly on the dashboard instead of checking each employee’s record individually.

  5. Copy / Share a link absentify idea from teams client

    I really like the teams integration with absentify, however a piece that is missing is being able to copy a link to a suggestion, feedback , roadmap, from within teams, currently I need to open and find the same idea on website version to get a link to share with team mates to provide feedback and status updates on coming improvements. I would like to see a link on each feedback (like this one), roadmap , idea that can be easily copied or shared from the Team's version of Absentify.

  6. Cancellation of individual days

    It should be possible to cancel individual days of vacation (instead of just the whole vacation). This should also be possible for managers and admins for past holidays. One implementation idea would be to be able to choose between the entire vacation and individual days when canceling vacation, and then select these specifically.

  8. Representative logic

    Not only the approver has to approve an absence request. It is also possible to configure that a substitute must be selected for each request. It can be configured whether the requester can select a substitute from a pool, or whether he or she is free to choose one. In this process, the representative gets a request when the representative approves, only then the request goes to the approver.

  9. Add Noticeboard where organisation leave rules can be posted as static content.

    A noticeboard where the rules per leave type can be loaded as static content would assist new and casual employees on what kind of absences they can take and the rules for each one. For example. if one is calling in sick - the noticeboard can have something that says notify your line manager by 9am or if one is booking sick leave for more than two days, they would know they need to bring a doctor's letter on return to duties. It can be just an additional tab on the app and the main administrator has access to update the tab.

  10. Monthly accounting accruals

    Monthly accrual accounts. It would be great if a custom filter (for ex January to April) would be available on the overview page. This filter should allow to see the holidays status at a certain moment in time and calculate the accrual value for the holiday left that the company would have to pay in a future. For example, Mark has 20 days holidays + 3 service day, he booked 7 days at the end of May. Accounts department has to see in April: Mark 20+3 days left, meanwhile if Accounts looks at the calendar at the end of May should see 13+3.

  11. Accrual PTO - Companies that give out time off based on time worked.

    Currently we have one pot for time off/sick/personal day & etc. We payout 5 hours each paycheck which equals to 10 hours a month. This allows new hires to not have to wait 3-6 months for them to receive PTO hours. They can use it as they earn or store it all away for a large time off/cushion for sick days/etc. It would be nice for the system to automatically add 5 hours of PTO on the 15th and 30th (or last day of the month) of each month and not have to manually add it for employees. For example: Beth starts on February 1st and has 0 PTO hours, by February 28th she now has a total of 10 PTO hours that she can use for a day off or a sick day or store it up for a longer period off.

  12. Year view for overview

    Show not just one week, but also the complete year (as an option) in the overview tab for all users. Each month as a separate column - no need to show single days - within the monthly column each week could be another column. Keep users in rows as is now.

  13. Admin Override 'Maximum Absent' Requests

    Admin's should be able to submit leave requests on behalf of staff members that would breach the 'Maximum Absent' rules.

  14. Outlook sync for delete

    Would it be possible to synchronise the delete between abentify and outlook? The sync is working fine when we create in Absentify but when we delete, the item stay in outlook and we would like to have it delete also

  15. Is it possible to do an accrual basis calculation for allowances?

    for those businesses that run their time off on an accrual basis it would give a more accurate tracking of time off. I am curious how we can use this tool with an accrual basis and will be trying it for a month or two.
